Dr Chand Pasha, born in March 1975, hails from Nizamabad district of Telangana State. Completed Master’s and Doctoral degree in Microbiology from Osmania University. Dr. Chand Pasha is involved in protein engineering in UGC, DST, TIFAC and DBT projects. Constructed in-house vector for yeast surface display of proteins. Three cellulases (endocellulase, Cellobiohydrolase. Beta-glucosidase) were engineered & cloned in developed vector under Gal promoter and maximum surface display was achieved. Completed PhD in the area of yeast molecular biology. During this period evaluated the molecular mechanism of thermal stress tolerance, developed high cellulase producing fungal strain, and pentose utilizing fusant yeast strain for ethanol production also developed a economically viable laboratory process for ethanol production. Established Cordyceps militaris and C. sinensis cultivation facility at Nizam College. Organized one day conference on “Recent Trends in Applied Microbiology” on 27th October 2007 and initiated “Louis Pasteur Microbiology Research Award” to encourage young students to select research as career. Conducted Two days National conference on Intellectual properties. 3&4th February 2020.Organized one week online workshop in applied life sciences from 24th to 31st July 2020.Organizing committee member for several national and international conferences conducted by dept of Microbiology, UCS OU and Nizam College. He is research committee coordinator of Nizam College and promoting active research. His areas of research include genetic and protein engineering, yeast surface display for therapeutic proteins and bioethanol production. Current work includes biofuels using lignocellulosics, therapeutic peptides for skin whitening, Analgesic, Contraceptive, anti aging and antimicrobial small peptides. He has undergone training in IPR, Bioinformatics and Multimedia.
He is a Life member of Indian Science Congress Association, Association of Microbiologists of India and Biotech Research Society of India. Working as editor to Inter Journal Medicine and Medical Sciences, Research in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (RPB), Journal of Medicinal Plants Research, Journal of Food and African Journal of Biotechnology. Having 15 patents, 35 publications, 56 gene bank submissions and 25 books. He is placement officer of Nizam College and actively involved in placements of students various companies.

Dr. Anju Nitin Rajan, completed Masters and Doctorate in Microbiology from Nagpur University. During her doctorate has worked for diagnosis of tuberculosis in Central India Institute of Medical Sciences, (CIIMS ) and (NEERI ) ,Nagpur. Worked as DBT fellow in 2003-2004 for development of Kit for diagnosis of M Tb. PhD work was about Significance of 65kD HSp in diagnosis of tuberculosis and tuberculous meningitis.Antibody extraction and characterization. Developed an ELISA KIT for tuberculosis,which is cost effective and will diagnose tuberculosis in 2.5 hrs, is patented and currently being routinely used in rural areas.
Awarded PhD in 2010 from Rashtrapita Sant Tukdoji Maharaj University, Nagpur. 11 research publications , 5 in International Journals and one Patent Teaching Experience of 9 yrs. Experience of several lab techniques including PCR, GC and HPLC. Experience of guiding BSc, MSc, BTech , MTech Research students for dissertations
