Project Work The department has introduced CBCS pattern for both UG and PG courses. Project work and seminar presentation is compulsory for both UG and PG students. Both, UG and PG Courses are on Semester System with Internal Assessments and Semester end Exams. The Department in its pursuit to offer value education and meet the requirements of the industry has made computer component and commerce lab, a part of the course curriculum. All the UG and PG students have to submit Project Report at the end of the Course for 100 marks. The Department of Commerce is one of the proud Departments of the College, that has unparalleled teaching-and-learning policies. It is always very quick in responding to the changes in the society and in addressing the issues that challenge it.The purpose of the project requirements written into a degree program is to ensure that students learn the theoretical and practical skills that they need. It is important that students can apply everything they learned in the real world. In B.Com (e-Commerce) specifically, requirements are set to verify that prospective graduates are conversant with all of the principles and methods used in modern computing science. Earlier (before CBCS) students used to prepare projects on topics like C, C++, JAVA, ASP, JSP, Web applications and front end users GOI. Now with the revised syllabus students prepare live real time interesting application oriented projects on topics relating to web applications using PHP, RDMS. Students also prepare e-tutorials on topics related to their relevant interesting subjects, languages and software’s. A glimpse of the e-tutorials of our students is available online.
