About the Grievance Redressal Cell

At Nizam College, we are committed to ensuring a transparent, fair, and student-friendly environment. The Grievance Redressal Cell (GRC) serves as a dedicated platform where students, faculty, and staff can raise concerns and seek resolution in a time-bound and impartial manner.

Objectives of the Grievance Redressal Cell

✔ To provide a mechanism for students and staff to voice their grievances.
✔ To ensure that grievances are resolved fairly, effectively, and confidentially./dt>
✔ To uphold the dignity and rights of individuals by addressing concerns in a structured manner./dt>
✔ To promote a culture of openness, accountability, and justice within the college.

Types of Grievances Addressed

The Grievance Redressal Cell handles issues related to:

  • Academic matters (exam-related issues, attendance, evaluation, etc.)
  • Administrative concerns (facilities, fees, scholarships, etc.)
  • Harassment & discrimination (gender-based, caste-based, etc.)
  • Student conduct & discipline
  • Any other grievances affecting the academic and personal well-being of students

    Grievance Redressal Committee

    The Grievance Redressal Committee consists of senior faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives who ensure impartial resolution of grievances.

    Process of Grievance Redressal

    Submission – The grievance can be submitted via email, or in person.

    Review – The committee reviews and assesses the complaint.

    Hearing & Discussion – Necessary discussions and inquiries are conducted.

    Resolution – A fair and time-bound solution is provided.

    Closure & Follow-up – The complainant is informed, and corrective actions are taken if needed.

    Confidentiality & Fairness

      All grievances will be handled with utmost confidentiality.
    1. The committee ensures that no complainant faces any retaliation or bias.
    2. Every grievance will be addressed in a transparent and professional manner.
