The SC/ST Cell of the college in the academic year 2022-23 facilitate access to reserve category students and aware to these students about various central and state government policies and scholarship. Also provide the information regarding the different scholarship offer by Savitribai Phule University Pune and government of Maharashtra.

In the academic year 2022-23, total 149 schedule cast (SC) students enrolled for the Government India Post matric scholarship scheme and received a sum total 916688 /- and total 33 schedule tribe (ST) students enrolled for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme (Government of India) scheme and received a sum total 438710 /- scholarship were distributed to these students.

Reservation cell provide platform for the applying online application in the computer laboratory for needy reserve category students. Reservation cell of college organized the workshop on caste validity to awareness regarding caste validity certificate dated 19th September & 22nd November 2022, for workshop invited Mr. Vikash Maruti Pansare (Deputy Collector and Chairman of Cast Validity Committee of District Ahmednagar). Mr. Bhagwat Ukhaji Khare (Research Officer, Cast Validity Committee of District Ahmednagar). In the same year, Reservation cell of college organized the One Day Workshop on Equal Opportunity Program on dated 8th Oct 2022 for students. At this event, Mr. Pirjade Ajaz Lala (Samatadut Prakalp Barti Ahmednagar) & Mr. Santosh Shinde (Samatadut Prakalp Barti Ahmednagar) delivered a talk on the importance of equal opportunity in society for the weaker classes and different schemes available from BARTI, SARATHI, and TRTI for the SC/ST/NT/OBC and minority group students.

Also provide the information regarding the different scholarship offer by Savitribai Phule University Pune and government of Maharashtra.
In the academic year 2021-22, total 173 schedule cast (SC) students enrolled for the Government India Post matric scholarship scheme and received a sum total 730422 /- and total 43 schedule tribe (ST) students enrolled for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme (Government of India) scheme and received a sum total 359650 /- scholarship were distributed to these students.
The “SC/ST Cell” of the college in the academic year 2021-22 takes a specialinterest in facilitating financial support to students from government agencies and other sources. To aware these students about different policies in the college a meeting was held this semester.
The “SC/ST Cell” helped students obtain financial support from governmental agencies. Placement activities are also carried out in the current year in which special preference was given to these students.
The orientation programs in soft skills have been arranged to improve academic skills in the English language. The basic objective of the coaching scheme is to help students and orient them to
participate in the Civil Service Examination.

In the academic year 2020-21, total 174 schedule cast (SC) students enrolled for the Government India Post matric scholarship scheme and received a sum total 1966735 /- and total 52 schedule tribe (ST) students enrolled for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme (Government of India) scheme and received a sum total 365375 /- scholarship were distributed to these students.
The “Reservation Cell” of the college in the academic year 2020 - 21 takes a specialinterest in facilitating financial support to students from government agencies and other sources.They are also encouraged to enroll in career orientation programs, which would equip them with the necessary skills
to choose a career option.

1. To aware these students about different policies in the college a meeting was heldthis semester.
2.  Placement activities are also carried out in the current year in which special preference was given to these students.
3. Some YouTube and online Zoom lectures were arranged for students to be aware of scholarships. Students of Undergraduate and Post Graduate of different streams were present for the program. Special efforts were made by Mr. T N Shaikh, Mr. S. S. Lokhande, Mr. A.R. Gavit, and all Committee Members.

In the academic year 2019-20, total 172 schedule cast (SC) students enrolled for the Government India Post matric scholarship scheme and received a sum total 1764970 /- and total 33 schedule tribe (ST) students enrolled for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme (Government of India) scheme and received a sum total 149980 /- scholarship were distributed to these students.
The reservation cell of Padmashri Vikhe Patil College, Pravaranagar organized a guest lecture on “Total Scholarship Guidance” on 27th July 2019. It was inaugurated by Mr. Vijay Patil, Sangamner College, Sangamner. At this event, Mr. Vijay Patil gave detailed information about scholarships from different agencies like the Government of India Post-Matric Scholarship, scholarships given by the Central Government of India, Scholarships given by Savitribai Phule Pune University, and the State Government. He has also given information about how to apply online f o r these scholarships. Students of Undergraduate and Post Graduate of different streams were present for the program. In the academic year 2018-19, total 189 schedule cast (SC) students enrolled for the Government India Post matric scholarship scheme and received a sum total 1412755 /- and total 42 schedule tribe (ST) students enrolled for the Post Matric Scholarship Scheme (Government of India) scheme and received a sum total 214250 /- scholarship were distributed to these students. To aware these students about differet policies in the college a meeting was held this semester.
